Ol' Pap Presentation

Join Harvey Warrner (Ol' Pap) on Tuesday, October 21st at 6pm as he presents a first person account of a soldier's life during the Civil War. This program is open to all ages and is FREE

The last Book Sale of 2014 is in October! Book Sale dates are as follows:

Tales to Tails

Tales To Tails October schedule! Our Therapy Dogs, Butch and Andy, are visiting the library on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 5pm! Sign up at the Circulation Desk to read to these wonderful animals!

 

FREE Computer Classes

The Library is again offering free Computer Classes, starting with Computer Basics on Tuesday, October 7th at 11am. The class schedule for the month of September can be found here.

 

Genealogy Research Assistance

The Samuel Bryan Chapter of the DAR will be sponsoring Genealogy Research Assistance on  Monday, October 13th from 2pm-5pm, and Monday, October 27th from 4pm-7pm.

 

BG Chatterbooks

The BG Chatterbooks Adult Discussion group will be meeting on Monday, October 13th at 6:30pm to discuss The Hunt For Red October by Tom Clancy.

NEW Poetry Discussion Group

Join the Library's new Poetry Discussion Group on Monday, October 20th at 6pm!
This month they will be discussing A Spiral Notebook by Ted Kooser and Vincent  by Don McLean.

 

Lapsit Storytime-For ages 0-24 months

The next lapsit program is Tuesday, October 21st at 11am. This program is for children from birth to 24 months and their caregivers. It is an opportunity to prepare children for literacy and welcome them to the library in a safe and secure environment.

 

Family/All Ages Storytime

The Library has a Family/All Ages Storytime evey month. Check it out on  Tuesday, October 28th @ 4pm! More information can be found here!

 

Steve McQueen Movie Night

The Library is hosting a Steve McQueen movie night on Tuesday, October 28th at 6pm with the films, "Soldier In The Rain" and "Love With A Proper Stranger."
