Introduction to Excel
Topics include entering data and formulas, moving and copying data, formatting & print previewing worksheets

Tuesday, February 10th 6:00-7:30
Excel: Beyond the Basics

Additional formulas will be introduced, and the creation of chars. and attendees will learn how to create charts
For those new to Excel, the Excel intro class is recommended before taking this class

Buying and Setting Up a Computer
The instructor will talk about what to look for when buying a computer and then how to set it up in a lecture style class

Learn the basics of using the Word 2010 word processing program. This class includes ways to view your screen, page layout options for your document, saving, and printing

Learn the basics about using Windows 8 as your operating system in a lecture style presentation
If you have a Windows 8 laptop, bring it with you to the class

This class covers all of the formatting options for your document---how to change styles of type, colors, backgrounds, etc. using the Home Ribbon buttons

Thursday, March 26th 2:00 Word 2010: Step 3
This class covers how to use the Review Ribbon and the Insert Ribbon, including Spellcheck and how to put pictures into your document

Saturday, March 28th 2:00 Pinterest

This class will teach you the basic things you need to know to create document using Microsoft Publisher. Publisher is a desktop publishing program used to create calendars, greeting cards, signs, etc.

Friday, April 10th 2:00 Computer Basics Q&A
This is an intermediate level class, where more detailed information about computers will be shared. It is recommended that you take the Computer Basics class first
